Dr. Jonathan S. Silbiger has been studying ophthalmology for more than 10 years. He graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. with a degree in biology. He then attained his medical degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Silbiger completed his transitional internship at Lloyd Noland Hospital in Birmingham, Ala., before returning to the University of Florida to complete his ophthalmology residency. He also completed a cornea and external fellowship at Willis Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa..

Dr. Silbiger has been published in a number of medical journals for his studies on keratoconus. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology.
