Dr. David Misch completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he was on the Dean's List. He completed an internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis., and his Ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Misch also holds an MBA from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Misch is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of: American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Medical Association (AMA), Florida Society of Ophthalmology (FSO), American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), Polk County Medical Society and American College of Physician Executives.
Dr. Misch published “Pseudo-endophthalmitis Caused by Intravitreal Lipid Transudation in Association with Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy and Hyperlipidemia” in 1986 with D.M. Robertson.
Dr. Misch and his wife, Debora, reside in Bartow and are both active in numerous community activities. They have three children.
