Dr. Sheraly received both his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Toronto. He earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York, and completed his Ophthalmology residency and his Glaucoma Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Sheraly is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He is board certified by the Michigan Board of Medicine, the Florida Board of Medicine, and the American
Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Sheraly’s interest in ophthalmology was sparked while participating in mobile medical eye camps organized in Tanzania, East Africa. Dr. Sheraly has presented at several regional, national, and international meetings and is published in several peer-reviewed publications. Outside of work, Dr. Sheraly enjoys playing team sports such as hockey and soccer, and enjoys traveling far and wide.
